2. Collecting and storing personal data, as well as the type and purpose of data use

One way in which your data is collected is when you provide data to us.

Upon accessing our website www.leikeim.de, information is automatically sent to our website’s server by the browser used on your end device. This information is temporarily stored in a ‘log file’. The following information is recorded without your involvement, and stored until it is automatically deleted:

•    IP address of the requesting computer,
•    date and time of access,
•    name and URL of the file requested,
•    website previous to access (referrer URL),
•    browser used, possibly also including your computer’s operating system and your access provider name.

We process the data specified for the following purposes:

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 f) GDPR.

Our legitimate interest derives from the purposes of data collection listed above.

We never use the data collected for purposes of determining your identity.

SSL or TSL encryption
For security purposes and to protect the transmission of confidential contents such as, for example, orders or requests which you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection when the address line in the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and a lock symbol appears in your browser line. When SSL or TSL encryption is enabled, data that you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

3. Sharing data

•  you explicitly consent to this under Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 a) GDPR,

•  if there is a legal obligation to disclose pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 c) GDPR, and
•  if this is legally permissible and required in order to process contractual relationships pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 b) GDPR.

4. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically generates and stores on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies are not harmful to your end device and do not contain viruses, trojans or other malware.

You have the right:

• to request that incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us is immediately rectified pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR;

• to request that your personal data stored by us is erased pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, provided that processing is not required to exercise the right to free expression of opinion and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons in the public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims;

• to request that the processing of your personal data is restricted pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you or processing is unlawful, and you have objected to such data being erased and we no longer require the data, but you require it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, or you have objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR;

• to request that you receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or is transmitted to another controller, pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR;

• to withdraw the consent you have previously given at any time pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR. This results in us no longer being able to process data on which this consent is based in the future, and

•  to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authorities pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR. 6. Right to object

Where your personal data is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 f) GDPR, you have the right under Art. 21 GDPR to file an objection to the processing of your personal data, where grounds for this exist that arise from your special situation or where the objection relates to direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, without us requiring a special situation to be specified.

Analysis tools and tools from third-party providers

When you visit our website, your surfing behaviour may be evaluated for statistical purposes. This is mainly carried out using cookies and ‘analysis programmes’. This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Your IP address must be saved for you to use Google Maps functions. This information is generally sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no control over this data transfer.
Google Maps is used in the interest of displaying our website offers in an appealing way and making places indicated on our website easy to find. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR.
